DRISHTI : the insight and the vision

Drishti is a word derived from one of the most ancient languages of the world, the Sanskrit. It has been the language of the orient and the occident, the eastern and the western world Synthesizing the ideas and the culture, languages and the rites. Drishti literally means the vision or the insight. It deeply means to look inside as well as outside. Our purpose is to look inside the things as to know more of the ideas behind the concrete and also at the surface level to know the reality as it is. In other simple words, Drishti refers to outward vision and inward awareness in all walks of lfe.

Drishti is to deal with the issues and facts that influence the Punjab-Canada relationships with special reference to the Punjabis living here in Canada. We shall cover the issues related with the society in general and the youth in particular. In spite of all that, we shall do cater to the needs of Women and the Senior Citizens as well and we shall be peeping into the glamorous worlds of Hollywood and Bollywood too. Also, Sports will not be away from Drishti. The current affairs and the current social, political and economic issues will be placed with palatable taste. Deep analysis of different political incidents that occur here in Canada, America, India and Punjab will also find space in this magazine.
